The two tired bathrooms were put in when the barn was converted the 1980’s and definitely ready for redecoration.

We chose to install shower panels rather than tiles. I hate it when the tile grout goes dark with mould. The panels have moulded edges, so no extra beading was needed and they are smooth and easy to clean.
The bathrooms are small so we kept the furniture to a minimum – Shower unit, loo and basin with a cupboard. The walls are painted with Dulux Rock salt emulsion and I plan a pop of colour with decorative tiles above the wash basin and luxurious towels. Small spotlights and a pretty mirror to finish.
Lino for the floor, a simple wood effect, to blend with the beams and all tucked under the shower unit and skirting for maximum leak protection.
