Christmas card gift tags

After Christmas I recycle Christmas cards to make gift tags for next Christmas. It’s fun to do on a wet January day!

Materials

  • Cards
  • Decorative string
  • Scissors
  • Hole punch

Cut the card into shapes that follow the printed design. Then punch a hole in each shaped card with the hole punch.

Cut the string into 6″ / 15cm lengths.

Fold a length of string in half and secure at one end with a knot. Thread the looped end through the hole in the card and then thread the knotted end through the loop.

Plenty of unique gifts tags for next Christmas – all stored away with the decorations to be discovered in December!
